The Mississauga Rebels (Minor Midget AAA) and Hamilton Bulldogs (Bantam AAA) are Border City Cup Champions. The Rebels defeated the Windsor Jr. Spitfires in the semi-final game 5-1 and went on to defeat Detroit Belle Tire 4-2 to take the Minor Midget AAA Championship. In the Bantam AAA final it was the Hamilton Bulldogs defeating the Windsor Junior Spitfires 4-2 to claim the championship. Earlier in the day Hamilton was trailing 3-1 to Guelph in the semi final game with 1:36 to play in the game before mounting a great come back to tie the game in regulation and went on to win in overtime to advance to the final. In the other semi final game the Jr. Spitfires defeated the Barrie Colts 5-1.
